The Femundlabben is as warm as the well-known Nesnalabben HØY (Polarlobben), but the shoes are round at the top of the toe so that they fit better inside the overboots and so that snow does not settle on top. Reinforcement of leather at the bottom towards the sole, and the whole front so that the tongue does not twist out to the side, and prevents snow from entering the shoe. Solid felted wool with a smooth lining on the inside. The shoes will feel a little stiff at first, but the felt quickly softens with use and molds to the foot. The soles are the same as on the Nesnalobben, but the Femundlabben does not have quite as much room for the toes due to the design. Therefore, we recommend going up 2-3 sizes from what you usually wear in winter shoes, depending on whether you have narrow or wide feet. Mushers and others who want several pairs of wool socks inside are recommended at least 3 sizes up.
